(12 dc) Row 2: Ch 3, dc in same st as joining, dc in next dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc). Repeat around. Join in top of beg ch. (18dc) Row 3: Ch 3, dc in same st as joining, dc in next 2 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc). Repeat around. Join in top of beg ch. (24dc) Row 4: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, Join in top of beg ch. (24 dc) Row 5: Ch 3, dc in next dc, (dc next 2 dc tog). Repeat around. Join in 1st dc. (NOT THE BEG CH.) Row 12: Ch1, sc in same st as joining, sc in next 4 sc, skip (3 sc, 3 hdc, 2 dc, 5 picots, 2 dc, 3 hdc, 3 sc), sc in next 10 sc, skip (3 sc, 3 hdc, 2 dc, 5 picots, 2 dc, 3 hdc, 3 sc), sc in last 5 sc. Wings: Row 1: Ch 6, sc in second ch from hook and each remaining ch. (5 sc) Rows 2-3: Ch 1, turn, sc across. (5 sc) Row 4: Ch 3, turn, dc in same place as turning, (ch 1, dc in next sc) 3 times. Ch 1, 2 dc in last sc. Row 5: Ch 3, turn, dc in same st as turning, (ch 1, dc in next dc) 2 times. 2 dc in next dc, (ch 1, dc in next dc) 2 times. Ch 1, 2 dc in last dc. Row 6: Ch 3, turn, dc in same st as turning, (ch 1, dc in next dc) 8 times. Ch 1, dc in last dc. (9 ch-1 loops) Row 7: Ch 3, turn, dc in same st as turning, (ch 1, dc in next dc) 10 times. Ch 1, 2 dc in last dc. (11 ch-1 loops) Row 8: Ch 3, turn, dc in same st as turning, (ch 1, dc in next dc) 12 times. Ch 1, 2 dc in last dc. (13 ch-1 loops) Row 9: Ch 3, turn, dc in same st as turning, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, (dc shell made) in next ch 1 space. *Ch 2, sl st in next ch 1 space, ch 2, shell in next ch 1 space. Repeat from * across, ending with ch 1, 2 dc in last dc. (7 shells made) Fasten Off. Second half of wing: With right side facing, join with sl st in 1st ch of beg ch 6. Ch1, sc in same place as joining and each remaining ch. (5sc) Work rows 2-9 of first half of wing and fasten off. Halo: Ch 15, join to form a ring. Ch 1, 30 sc in ring. Join in beg sc. Ch 3, skip 1 sc, sl st in next sc. Repeat around. Fasten off. Finishing: Soak angel, wings, and halo in white glue. (I use Elmer's multi-purpose glue.) Shape angel over plastic wrapped funnel, lay halo and wings flat on wax paper to dry. I try to squeeze out as much glue as possible. Do not wring out.
