Aspiring Accents Coaster



Materials:
     Small amount of #10 crochet bedspread cotton
     Steel hook (I used US sz. 6)

Note: This pattern is in US terms.

Gauge: Not really important.

Directions:

     Ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring.
     Row 1: Ch 1. (Sc, ch 7) 6 times in ch-4 loop. Join with sl st in top of beg sc.
     Row 2: Ch 1. (11 sc in ch-7 loop) 6 times. Join with sl st in top of beg sc.
     Row 3: Sl st in each of next 6 sc. Ch 1, sc in same sp. (Ch 8, sc in 6th sc of next loop) 5 times. Ch 8, sl st in top of beg sc.
     Row 4: Sl st into ch-8 loop, ch 3. Dc, ch 2. (2 dc, ch 2) 3 times in same ch-8 loop. *(2 dc, ch 2) 4 times in next ch-8 loop. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
     Row 5: Sl st into ch-2 sp. Ch 3, dc in same sp. *Skip next 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch-2 sp. Repeat from * around. Ch 2, sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
     Row 6: Sl st into top of next dc, and into ch-2 sp. Ch 1, sc in same sp. *Skip next 2 dc, 7 dc in next ch-2 sp. Skip next 2 dc, sc in next ch-2 sp. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in beg sc.
     Row 7: Ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 3. *Sc in next stitch, ch 3. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in beg sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.
